How I Became a Mid-Age Career Consultant?

Priti Author

I have 20 years of experience in the IT field. I have been into software testing from the beginning of my career. And for the past 10 years, I am into management which is my area of interest. I am particularly interested in tracking and monitoring, scheduling, people management, client, and stakeholder management.

My journey in IT has been nothing short of a surprise. I started off by studying B. Com and then went on to pursue Master’s in Computer Management. My first job was in Bangalore which taught me independence and was the best experience of my life. I received many awards not just for my technical skills, but also for training. I have managed multiple transitions in Agile and have also trained over 200 professionals.

I also like to learn new things; hence I have always taken efforts to certify myself in the latest technologies. I have certifications in Project Management, Agile and Scrum. Also, since I am into people management, I pursued a degree in counselling psychology as recently as Year 2021. Till date, I use psychology in my work and have seen this investment bearing excellent results. I believe that learning is forever and must be continuous, irrespective of whether you meet with success or failure.

As a part of my job, I have travelled extensively to the US and European countries. This has helped me in getting good global exposure. I have managed small to large teams and have good exposure to onsite and offshore.
